The soon-to-be-abandoned Lansing City Market
In the video, local vendors at Lansing City Market talk about their Thanksgiving offerings. (Popcorn in the stuffing? Why not?)
This is also the last Thanksgiving for the market at its current location, and, again, many folks wonder whether the new facility will be as warm and friendly.
The Lansing City Market’s holiday hours this week are: Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Meridian Farmer’s Market in Okemos will be open Wednesday for its Pre-Thanksgiving Sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Participating vendors include: Country Products, The Butterfly Bush, Hanniwald Lamb, 45th Parallel Pickling Co., Stone Cloud Gardens, Titus Farms, Wildflower EcoFarm (weather permitting), Williamston Florist and Greenhouse, Fairview Gardens (weather permitting), Mac’s Market (weather permitting), Czech Bakery, Green Eagle Farm, Craig’s Hilltop Honey, Michigan Mushrooms, Never Dull (knife sharpening), and Jennifer Rotier (crocheted items).
