Thanks to Deadline Detroit for unearthing the Detroit Institute of Art’s ad called “You Gotta Have Art.” This takes on a special poignance considering the possibility that many of the museum’s treasures may soon be auctioned off in the city’s bankruptcy proceedings. According to an article in the New York Times, Christie’s has estimated the artworks could generate as much as $867 million.
