The Westboro Baptist Church, long notorious for protesting at soldier funerals, is now targeting high schools and plans to protest outside East Lansing High School this Thursday, October 18. A community coalition of secular and faith-based organizations have been working to provide an alternative event to counteract the hate that WBC spews. (Click here for more information.)
