Suheir Hammad rocks the world of poetry and you can hear and see her perform 9 p.m., Friday, March 26 on the MSU campus at the Abbott Café on the first floor of Abbott Hall. Her visit is sponsored by the MSU Center for Poetry.
Hammad is from Brooklyn by way of Palestine and is an outspoken activist and spoken word artist. She is frequently seen on HBO Def Poetry Jam and speaks for those who have no voice.
