This show continues to be one of the funniest on TV. As the Harvest Festival draws near, Ron and Leslie take a trip to Indiana for a commendation. This main story was pretty good.
Ron was looking forward to eating at a restaurant that had the best steaks. Unfortunately, it was closed and for the rest of the episode, he was hilarious. His reaction to Chris’s food was great and his reaction to a diner food’s steak was very funny.
Speaking of Chris, he was pretty good again. Rob Lowe has done a fine job playing him and this week dealt with him potentially cheating on Ann. She was worried, so Leslie thought she would investigate while she was with him.
She found a women’s razor and a pink swimming cap and gets Ann to drive there. The crazy part about this story was that Chris wasn’t cheating and he actually had already broken up with Ann.
She didn’t know this, though, as she had never been dumped before. I thought it was a funny conclusion to that story. There were two other stories of the episode, and they were both good.
Tom gets some guys from work to go to a launch party for a fragrance, and while there, he tries to get the maker to smell his cologne.
Unfortunately, it was horrible, and Ben’s reaction to it was hilarious. Tom was pretty funny in this episode, but because he got rejected, he wasn’t at his best.
But, Andy and April made up for it with probably the funniest story of the night. Neither of them had money, so while at the launch party, they decided to have a competition to see who could get the most free stuff.
They both acted like workers, stole toilet paper, food, drinks, and more. It was a very funny part of the episode and so far, their relationship has been great.
This was another standout episode with no weakness. Each story had its moments and a few were really good.
While this show hasn’t gotten the recognition, I stand by what I said about this show being one of the top five comedies on TV. Not only that, but it has surpassed 30 Rock and The Office.
Seriously, if you are still not watching this gem, start now. It is working every which way and each episode has tons of laughs.
