Our new Lansing Online News Map on Googlemaps will allow you to tour the city through our eyes.

Lansing Online News will use the tool to highlight locations where we do major stories. Click on the link to the larger map and then click on the icon for Preuss Pets icon as an example. As you will see, the Googlemaps tool allows us to embed our YouTube videos directly into the map locations.
Over time, as we add more locations to the map, you will be able to browse through stories of interest.

Google makes this incredible tool available for free for people to develop their own maps. If you would like to learn how to make your own Googlemap, Lansing Online News is hosting a free workshop on Wednesday, July 14, at 11:30 a.m. in the back room of the Gone Wired Cafe in Lansing (just click on the map above for more information on Gone Wired). Co-publisher Bonnie Bucqueroux will show guide you through the process in about a half hour.
