Day 1 does not result in a memorable meal
On Day 1, we find Emily ridding the fridge of anything that does not come from Michigan. After a brief tour of her garden, she shops at Goodrich’s Shop-Rite in East Lansing, where she finds that finding out whether products come from Michigan is not as straightforward as you might think.
Maybe try the East Lansing Food Coop. I went there for the first time last week and have reason to believe that they might carry a lot of locally grown food.
