In his new book “The Bond,” Wayne Pacelle proposes that we understand that preventing cruelty to animals helps us as well. He argues for an end to inhumane industrial agriculture practices, as well as the horrific abuses of dog fighting.
Pacelle will be speaking and signing books at Everybody Reads bookstore at 2019 East Michigan Avenue in Lansing (next to Gone Wired Cafe) on Sunday, August 7 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The bookstore will be hosting an adoption opportunity from noon to 2 p.m.
