From the Soldaderas collection by Paloma Rosales
Honora chose the space four years ago, as a place to display her own work and showcase the work of fledgling artists in a low-pressure environment.
From now until the end of October, Honora is displaying Soldaderas, paintings by local artist Paloma Rosales that honor the women who helped fight the Mexican Revolution.

Charlie the squirrel leads to Honora’s gallery
Hi Bonnie,
Gracias for the nice little video for Honora’s gallery and mentioning my exhibit. Fun! Just a quick note though, the title and spelling is Soldaderas, SOL-DA-DER-AS.
The opening was a huge success, well attended and thanks to media coverage, people continued to visit to view my show till it closed yesterday! The next Soldadera exhibit will be at the Samora Conference at the Marriott in E.L. Nov. 6 & 7 2009 and the Kellogg foundation in Battle Creek in May 2010.
I wasn’t aware that this site existed, so now I’ll check in from time to time!
Thanks again! Paloma
