More than 50 vendors from around the state sold their wares on the Capitol lawn. The event was organized by the Michigan Farmers Market Association (the site allows visitors to search for a farm market in their area).
Customers appeared to love the fresh-cut flowers
Bonnie Bucqueroux retired from Michigan State University’s School of Journalism to devote herself to pushing the boundaries of online storytelling. A National Magazine Award winner, Bucqueroux built her first website in 1996, and she is credited with having the first campaign blog of any candidate running for Congress (when she ran for the 8th Congressional seat as the Green Party candidate in 2000).
