In The Woods
In The Woods
Nestled in the woods, taking rest in the shade
Lies a very special house, that great-grandfather made
It’s full of love, and rest, and fun
And always sits welcoming under the rays of the sun
If the walls could talk, they’ve seen it all
From little kids growing up, until now when they’re tall
There’s been laughter and tears, worry and joy
But one thing’s for sure,
it’s a place we enjoy
From the time it awakens to the sun lightened sky
To the time when it darkens and the moon floats on by
Through times that are hard and times that are good
This faithful old house will be waiting, up in the woods
