Thelma (629414) - Hi, I’m Thelma. I’m currently in a foster home and doing great. My foster Mom says I have perfect manners: don’t beg, don’t chew things up, house trained, walk good on a leash, and barely shed. I’m gentle, playful and extremely tolerant of small children. I would be perfect for your home. (Thelma is a four-year-old spayed female mixed breed.)

Big Bama (639376) - Perfect cat alert! I’m a very loving cat. I love attention, sitting on your lap and even liked being groomed. And I like other cats and dogs. Oh, did I tell you how soft my fur is? I need a family to love, can it be yours? (Big Bama is a four-year-old neutered male.)

Dave (609325) - I’m super cute, house trained, walk good on a leash and am good with kids. Could you ask for a better dog? Oh yeah, I know sit and down too. Please adopt me!

Phoenix (641707) - My foster Mom says I’m regal like a lion. I’m a sweet, easy going guy and am good with other cats. No dogs please, they scare me. And I’m a lap kitty. I was abandoned and probably hit by a car. I lost one of my eyes in the accident. (Phoenix is a five-year-old neutered male.)

Adam (641474) - I’m mellow and rarely bark, but still love to play. I should be matched to other dogs in the household, because I may be too playful for some dogs. (Adam is a four-year-old neutered Jack Russell Terrier.)

Alli (641825) - Beautiful long hair, front declawed kitty. My owners couldn’t take me when they moved. I’m talkative, sweet and love attention. (Alli is a spayed, four-year-old female.)

Merryweather (632844) - I keep looking out the window at the shelter for my new family. Is it yours? I’m a beautiful kitty who was lost on the streets. Please take me home. (Merryweather is a spayed young adult female.)

Woofer Walk
June 5, 2010 - 9 a.m. (Registration begins 8 a.m.) - Okemos - The 1.5-mile walk begins at the Walmart parking lot - T-shirts, goodie bags and prizes
Join us and walk your dog to raise funds for the homeless animals at the Ingham County Animal Shelter. Funds raised help our animals with medicine and much-needed medical treatment. The shelter cares for more than 5,000 animals from Ingham County each year. Registration forms and pledge sheets available on-line at www.ingham.org/ac. Registration also available the day of the walk. Register by May 12 to get your t-shirt ordered by the day of the walk.
