Agenda for BWL special session raises questions about “independent” review

The Board of Commissioners for the Lansing Board of Water and Light has published the agenda for the special session that will be held at the company’s new REO Town headquarters at 1201 S. Washington Ave., Tues., Jan. 7, 5:30 p.m.

The second agenda item asks BWL GM J. Peter Lark to establish “two independent review teams: one for the outage response and one for the communication response,” with a due date of March 31.

Would you appoint Mr. Fox to set up the review of problems with the henhouse?

Note also that the BWL board acknowledges there were no crisis communication plans for the company or the board and suggests interim plans be developed immediately.

    Shows to me that we need to remove not ONLY Lark but this entire board of commissioners who look to either him or Bernero to TELL them WHAT to do and HOW to do it.
