Join the Allen Street Market for a panel presentation on historic and contemporary restaurateurs 7 p.m., Friday, March 28. Valerie Marvin of the Historical Society will query panelists Ange Vlahakis (Jims’ Tiffany), Paul Grescowle (Emil’s) and Nick Gavriledes (Soupspoon) about the life of a Michigan Avenue Restaurateur.
A curated Lansing Eats Exhibit, containing beautiful photos, menus and artifacts from Lansing restaurants of the past, will be on display to give visitors an interesting look into the history of food production and consumption in Lansing. Tasty refreshments will, of course, be provided at this fun, free, food-focused event.
Note: Allen Market Place, located on the north side of the1600 block of E. Kalamazoo, is accessed from the north parking lot.
